Good evening!

I am currently on my 4th week of this second semester. My grade in Polisci is 100%, in Quantitative Methods about 95% and in Law 92%, which is great, but in International Economics I only have the results of one evaluation, which is 87%. Although in itself this is not a bad grade, I believe I can really do better. I will force myself to listen more in class and take notes of the examples M. Scarone gives.

Two weeks ago we had the McMUN conference, which I posted about on the "SimONU" part of this website. I enjoyed it very much, more than the last one even. I think in gthe future, I will always pick Crisis Committees, as they are more fast-paced, entertaining and I feel like it developed my knowledge on Model United Nation, as well as my capabilities in public speaking and problem-resolution better than MUNC's general World Food Programme assembly.

In other news, the R score is out in 7 days. This grade is important as it gives me an idea of where I should look into applying to university next year. (the first R score pretty much sets the stage for the rest of my semesters' R scores, as it is difficult afterwards to upgrade it by more than 1 point). If I have an R score of 33+, I can think of applying to McGill Law at the beginning of next semester, while if it is less than 33, I should look into other undergraduate programs in fields that interest me (other human sciences). I have stopped studying for the LSAT for the moment as I want to concentrate on trying to get the best grades possible grades at school.

Bourstad (a stock market simulation) is starting next week. I have a second reunion with M. Dubé and the other students participating this Thursday at 6pm. I am planning on trying to win. Of course, this will take a lot of energy, but I am willing to try my best at this simulation. I will have to gamble a lot and hope for the best, while staying informed about the simulated news Bourstad posts.
