Jalinus - The Defence of the Sassanian Empire (632 CE)
The 2022 McGill Model United Nations Conference is an online UN simulation. In the case of the Sassanian Empire Crisis Commitee, students were asked to represent diplomats, aristocrats and religious/military leaders to save the falling faith of the Empire. The character in question, Jalinus, was a strong Sassanid fighter and Zoroastrian believer. Through the directives presented in the 3-day long conference, the delegates fought against nomadic invasions in the north, Armenian conflicts in the West and a Southern war with the Arabs. In the end, albeit the Empire not completely falling, multiple different provinces emerged under different regimes (aristocracy, monarchy, democracy and more).

Joe Aiello - The Sit-Down crisis committee
The Vanier Model United Nations took place over zoom on the 24th and 25th of April, 2021. This committee took a look at the Sicilian mafia situation in NYC during the prohibition era, more specifically the fight between the Masseria and Maranzano family. Joe Aiello, associated with the Maranzano family, used his sugar factories and funds from the Unione to help alcohol distilleries. At the end of this meeting, the Masseria family had taken over the city of New York, after a fight over coffee prices and police corruption.

Patsy Chapman (News of the World) - 1992 Annus Horribilis crisis committee
The 2021 McGill Model United Nations Conference is an online simulation in which studentsplay the roles of characters or nations in historical, fictional or geopolitical situations. The 1992 Annus Horribilis Crisis Committee concerns the problems between the British media and the British monarchy of 1992. Patsy Chapman was a reporter for the Sunday-exclusive tabloid paper of The Sun. Through multiple directives, my character allied themselves with many other members of the free press, especially other tabloids, to write effective directives resolving multiple problems thrown at the delegates during crisis updates. At the end of this committee, the United Kingdom had dissolved into the United Republic, the monarchy had been stripped of their privileges in Britain and many members of the press had been incarcerated.
MUNC 2020
Delegation of Kuwait - WFP
The Montreal United Nations Conference (MUNC) is an international simulation for secondary, CEGEP or University students. Through role-playing and debate, students develop solutions to issues presented to them.
Through this event, I represented the delegation of Kuwait in the World Food Programme (WFP). This event went on for three days, in which I helped develop a resolution for famines all over the world (especially in Yemen and Somalia) and a proposed funding system.
